Nimbuzz now preinstalled on Lava A9 handset!!

We have another great news for all the Nimbuzz fans in India. We have one more addition to the Nimbuzz pre-installed mobiles with Lava Mobiles’ new mobile chatting phone A9. So now all the Lava Mobiles users can enjoy the Nimbuzz multi-community mobile messaging experience and connect with  contacts across various IM’s and social networking sites like Gtalk, Yahoo, Hotmail, Facebook, Orkut, etc. with a simple click!

To enjoy fully enjoy Nimbuzz on your A9 just make sure that the access point is set as GPRS and to start chatting just click on the Nimbuzz icon and connect with your existent account or create a new one ;)

  4. @Shashi, Hi Shashi. Please can you give details about your problem with reference to what service you are connected to and what is the access point? Nimbuzz works on the GPRS settings.

  5. nimbuzz will work with rcomwap setting or not on this handset i really need nimbuzz but it never worked for me can anybody help me out
    is this LAVA A9 hanset supports connection via proxy or not eg: apn rcomwap proxy ip 10.239.221.5 port 8080 beacuse in my nokia 3110c it never worked for me

  6. @Emad, Hi, it is nice to know about your keen interest to use Nimbuzz. Lava comes with Nimbuzz pre-installed and we have got positive feedback. Also, In order to get Nimbuzz working again you need to use the SmartNET access point and not a WAP access point as Nimbuzz application doesn’t work on the same (see the instructions below).

  7. Hi, am also not able to use nimbuzz on my brand new Lava A9. When i open the application, it is showing testing your connection and nothing happens for long time. In the mean time, am able to browse other stuff from my phone. Am using GPRS service of idea. Pls tell me what should i do to start using nimbuzz application in my lava a9.

  8. i’m used the lava A9 model cell but can’t connect nimbuzz.i’m used aircel sim.
    Nimbuzz connect airtel,vodafone.
    why not connect aircel sim.But MiniOpera connect well.
    Pls give gooooood solution.

    I have Lava A9, whenever I try to start Nimbuzz this Shows message on top of screen “testing your connection” and nothing happens thereafter. what should i do.

  17. @ankit, if you are facing problems in logging on to Nimbuzz, you can uninstall and reinstall the Nimbuzz setup from the Nimbuzz website, and then try connecting to Nimbuzz.

    Let us know your feedback on this.

    You can also refer to the No more error logging to Nimbuzz!! HTTP fallback now available both on Symbian and JAVA blog post for your reference.

  33. I am using lava b8 phone and using nimbuzz. I have downloaded the latest version but, when I try to install it it will not get istalled as it request to uninstalled in preloaded nimbuzz. But there in no option to remove preloaded nimbuzz in lava b8. Can any one help me.
