Hi Pawandeep, Yes you can make cheap calls from your phone with Nimbuzz by calling from NimbuzzOut.

This phone is just a dubbed name of Micromax Q3. And I don’t think Having Nimbuzz installed on this device is a big deal because Nimbuzz can be downloaded virtually on any Java enabled phone without shelling out a penny.

Continuing further, I had probably tried using each and every IM client before Nimbuzz. And I must say, using This application has been sensational. It’s amazingly user friendly and the tangy orange background is soothing to eyes.

I’ve already become an unofficial Nimbuzz promoter among my friends.

Hi,

I have puchased a ZEN mobile model Z77. However, i am facing some problem with the GPRS. The service which I am using is Tata Docomo. The tata docomo customer service says that they do not have the GPRS settings for Zen mobile. They also says that is this a China mobile. Please advice which service provided I need to use to activate the GPRS settings on my handset.

Also, i tried contacting various person to help me out with this, but no one was there to help me.

Dear Aman,

This isn’t a problem at all! It’s very much true that service providers can’t recognize few of the handsets for GPRS settings. But not to lose your heart. All you need is APN address, Proxy Address and Port number Of Tata Docomo. Just call up their customer care and ask them to provide the internet settings so that you can set it up manually. Once You’re done with gathering all these settings, just manually enter them in your phone. Voila! It should work.

Though I don’t use this phone I’ve had a similar phone from a company called Orion. And I just did the same to make it work. Cheers!

i tried connecting nimbuzz hundred times with aircel gprs as well as pocket internet but always i got same error this application is unable to connect at this time . i am using Z77 model of zen mobile .please help me .

Dear Asif,

I’m too having Aircel connection and initiatially even I faced the same problem. But the solution is very very simple. Nimbuzz doesn’t work with normal WAP profile of Aircel. All you’ve got to do is get The Aircel Online setting on your phone and set the same for Nimbuzz. Or Create a new internet profile in your browser with the APN name as “aircelgprs” and just leave the other options blank and set this new profile for Nimbuzz. It will definitely work. Cheers!

zen z77 is a useless phone i have wasted Rs3450 on this phone it doesnot support gprs on airtel and bsnl. its cheap but its worst ,buttons are very loose. camera 1.3 mega pixel a bog joke its like a vga camera. dont ever buy this phone

Dear all,

Just forget all the crap these customer care fellas scream about these phones. On the first hand, pls call up your respective customer care numbers and ask for manual GPRS settings which you yourself can configure within seconds. Read the phones manual and learn about changing internet settings. It’s very simple. All you need is some basic knowledge about mobile phones. This isn’t a Microsoft Remote Assistance centre for online support. Eh?!

very few games or apps can be installed.
you hv to try it our with every download.
probably 15 games worked out n ma mob, still i dint pass away to apps. will let u know later abt other applications.

good to know. s vodafone will not provide gprs for china configuration. u better activate airtel sim for sim2 in your zenz77. airtel will provide configuration for zen z77..

may i know which network you are using?
Its better to call your network provider from another phone and ask for your settings, they will let you know step by step method to activate it.

I’ve zen77 mobile and i am trying to connect nimbuzz,but it almost fail .Pliz help me ….And one things is that my zen77 is currently meet problem on ear peice i.e not able to support . i complaint to the dealer then they sent my phone to company. they said that it will took 25 day to returns back .Does it possible ? it took too much time…..

Thanks Dinesh…. m using Aircel postpaid connection…i somehow managed to install settings but nimbuzz is not opening from the set….it says..”connection testing…” and remains in that mode only….

good.. first you jus tak a test drive with your browser and confirm whether net connection is working on your fone or not.
go into wap homepage and check it. aftr checkin try with nimbuzz.

@ Soumya, Thank you for showing interest in Nimbuzz.

Nimbuzz practically works only in GPRS mode and not in normal WAP mode. Even though you can browse normal webpages, you’ll not be able to access Nimbuzz since it requires GPRS. To make it simple- GPRS and WAP are seperate settings. Get in touch with your Service provider and ask for manual GPRS settings. Once you are done, input the same in your phone and assign it for Nimbuzz. It’ll work.

Else, try this- APN Name: aircelgprs

Homepage: http://www.google.com. And leave all other fields BLANK. Including Proxy Address and Port Number.

u can download many app for zen z77 just go to operamini select downloads select getjar they will ask uto select phone brand dont select cum down u will see a j2ME select it thn go on and download as many app as u want there are many games also.why waste time go man go.(there r three catgories free,demo,adwarei sugest u prefer free mostand then demo atlast u select adware if u interested very much also see the ratings below it will help to download the best.for me docomo is best then aircel.

Hi,

i had Zen 77 and the provlem when evr i am trying to open the NImbuzz it is get connecting and it is fine..
But the issue if i want to make a call or to operate any other applications, i am unable to hide/minimise the option, i drags me to close the application.
Can you guys pls help me in sorting out this..
that i acn use the nimbuzz everytime without closing the application…

U cant minimise nimbuzz in zen 77, there is no option for that..
Even u cant minimize gotalkmobile application too.
This application only for G-Talk

Yes, camera is pretty good. Though the flash isn’t quite powerful, it can be used as a torch light too.

The screen resolution, track-ball, camera, battery back upto 4-5 days are some of the main features of this cute gadget.

I am also facing the same issue with Nimbuzz on my reliance gsm network. WAP/OperaMini are working fine but not Nimbuzz When I saw in the GPRS setting of mobile there is only two entries from Reliance ‘rcomwap’ and ‘rcommms’!!! I have manual configuration for reliance gprs but i don’t know how to configure it in Z77. Please help me OR just give me a sms on 9015073193. I will call you.

hey, i m also facing the problem on this same mobile,,,,i m using docomo connection,i configured gprs manually but some error like “error in certificate continue “is coming and after i m getting all login page. but i cant able to see my mails ,error is cookies function tuned off in ur mobile,pls turn it on,,,i tried for it but i m not able to access my mails still,,,and i m not able to access nimbuzz,opera mini also ….plss help me if any body know about this

get the airtel gprs setting from customer care then will tell u the manual settings step by step. then configure some very small settings for nimbuzz that is explained in the pdf manual that u can download from ZEN site. It is perfectly working on my set with airtel sim.

Most of em are asking about the GPRS setting.
still there are some nerwork providers not giving the setting. it is better to choose airtel for browsing.
Jus give a call to customercare and they will let you know the steps to go on to internet settings according to your mobile configuration.
