MTNL GPRS pricing and usage details across India

In continuation to our blog posts on Pricing and Usage details of the popular GPRS service providers; we have now put together the pricing and usage details of MTNL GPRS.

In the series, we have already put together the Airtel Mobile Office pricing and usage details across India and the Vodafone Mobile Connect pricing and usage details across India.

Below, we have collated the details on how you can get the settings for MTNL GPRS and the plan rates for both pre and post-paid connections.

How to Activate MTNL GPRS?

  • The Trump (Prepaid) customers can avail this facility by typing “ACT GPRS” and sending the SMS to 444 for activation
  • The SMS sent to ’444′ is charged @ Rs.2/- per SMS
  • The Dolphin (Postpaid) customers can avail this facility by typing “GPRS” and sending the SMS to 555 (toll free) for activation or call 1503

The manual settings can be obtained from OTA server by either of the following methods:

  • SMS your hand set Make & Model No. to 58354. e.g. SMS ‘NOKIA N70′ to 58354
  • Call costumer care (1503) to get the settings
